Regular, open and constructive communication is key to developing healthy relationships between the various stakeholders in our school. This year GSCA is providing parents with two new ways to partner with the GSCA administration – through monthly Parent Discussions and quarterly Huddles with the Head.
The tile floors were waxed and buffed. The carpets were shampooed. The new fish aquarium in Mrs. Alampi’s science classroom was sparkling. The computer’s in Mrs. Pastor’s technology room were humming with software upgrades. The renovated Infant & Toddler Center was gleaming. And the fresh paint and decorations in the Preschool rooms made the Early Education areas feel bright, clean, and welcoming. As I watched the GSCA staff and faculty visit with parents and students ages 6 weeks to 8th grade at our Pre-K Open House and K-8 Watermelon Welcome events, my heart was full of gratitude for the team God has assembled to serve at Good Shepherd Christian Academy.
This week, Good Shepherd Christian Academy announced that Mrs. Cindy Weaver, who served as GSCA's Head of School from 2004-2017, had been named the school's first emeritus administrator.
